Driessen HRM in Helmond needed more space. Instead of expanding the existing office even further, Driessen opted for new construction on the adjacent land. A building with its own identity, its own color, but clearly recognizable as part of Driessen. "From family business in one building, we make the step to a family of companies". On 18 September 2017, the new building (4,075 m2) was completed.
Two office wings are connected by a glass-covered street, the 'Dorpsstraat'. This Dorpsstraat creates a logical connection between the existing head office and the new building. To strengthen the Brabant identity, the Dorpsstraat has an entrance for the staff, 'd'n achterom', and the main entrance, 'd'n veurdeur'.
Driessen HRM attaches great importance to a pleasant working environment. Much attention has been given to sustainability, flexibilisation and work-life balance. The latter is reflected, for example, in the day nursery, where children of the staff spend the day in a bright, friendly environment. Healthy dishes and juices are available in the company restaurant.
